What Do I Need To Make This Work?
-
You need to have telephone service to your property. This product will work with your existing telephone service: regular analog ”land-line”, DSL, digital cable and most VOIP systems will work fine with this product. Testing of the alarm call-out is highly recommended to ensure compatibility with your phone system.
-
Users can share a telephone jack by using a ”line splitter” which turns a single telephone wall jack into two jacks. Protected Home offers these in our Accessories section.
-
You will need to any Bell/Speaker wire, 18-24 gauge to connect the WaterAlarm to the auxiliary input on the Deluxe FreezeAlarm. Connecting wire not included.
-
The Deluxe WaterAlarm/FreeezeAlarm product plugs into a normal 110VAC power outlet. It uses two 9 volt batteries for back-up power and to power the water sensor. Batteries not included, but are available to purchase from Protected Home. See the accessories section.
